Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is most well-known for her part in House on Fox. In a very strict Jewish upbringing the actress was able to move from Wayne into New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of Arts. She became very involved with the clubs in the city of New York, and was able to get noticed by the media. While doing so, she was becoming more aware of AIDS and its devastating impacts. The singer used her training in music and fame to create and star in a new musical, Positive Me. Soon after she was employed by MTV to host Awake on the Wild Side. When Awake on the Wild Side had stopped being aired, she began acting in movies as well as on TV, starting with short parts. In time, her experience in acting increased.
