Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and singer. A beautiful, smart and talented actor, she's an inspiration to Asian actors who are aspiring to make it big in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted when she appeared in a few popular shows. There, she portrayed the villainous Ling Woo. Following her fame, she got major roles on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around the same time she was playing lead roles in some box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated films like Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason's tiny screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police show that Liu played frequently played a part that helped to reestablish she is an internationally acclaimed actor. Liu takes great care in selecting her roles, so she doesn't get typecast. As much as she loves her culture however, this has not hindered her when it comes to her career as an artist.
